Yes! Our workshop is at Unit 7, Croft Industrial Estate, Bury, BL9 8QG. We’re open from 9am to 5pm – feel free to drop by during these hours, and our team will be happy to help.
Yes. A deposit is required to secure your build date, with the remaining balance payable once the job is complete and you are fully satisfied. We’ll confirm the deposit amount with your quote.
Yes, absolutely. We’ll create a bespoke, tailored plan and source all the parts you need. Whether it’s building custom furniture or fitting a pop top roof, we can cover it. We supply a wide range of products including diesel heaters, furniture kits, rock and roll beds, electrics, awnings, sound deadening and insulation – all of which you can explore on our shop page.
Yes, rest assured, we are insured to have your vehicle on site at Innercity Campers.
Timelines vary depending on your van’s specific requirements. Most complex conversions take 2–4 weeks to complete. As we usually book work 4–8 weeks in advance, you should allow for an overall lead time of around 3 months from your initial enquiry.
SWB and LWB describe the wheelbase length of a van. The short wheelbase (SWB) version is more compact, offering easier handling and parking in tighter spaces. The long wheelbase (LWB) model extends the vehicle’s length, giving valuable extra room inside for storage, larger furniture or extended living space.
All of our conversions are backed by a 1-year warranty that covers the quality of our workmanship. In addition, our Drivelodge and Skyline pop top roofs come with a 5-year roof warranty, offering long-term reassurance that your campervan is built to last.
Yes. If your van’s already sorted and you just want the roof, we fit pop top roofs on their own – no need to take the full package. Tell us the van and we’ll give you a price for the roof by itself. Our full conversion package is there if you want the rest done at the same time.

Pop top roof questions
Yes. We fit pop top roofs to vans with existing interiors. We’ll look at your vehicle and its current setup, talk through what the installation involves and explain anything that needs to be considered.
Once you’re happy with your choices, we’ll confirm your workshop date. A deposit secures your booking and goes directly towards ordering your roof, canvas and any parts you’ve chosen – we’ll confirm the amount with your quote. The final payment is due once your roof has passed our quality checks.
Our Drivelodge and Skyline pop top roofs come with a 5-year roof warranty, and our fitting work is backed by our 1-year workmanship warranty.
We walk you through everything you need to know: how to safely open and close the roof, how to tuck the canvas correctly, the best way to secure it for driving, and how to care for the canvas and seals.
